First Time Ayurvedic Consultation: Your first Ayurvedic Consultation is 1.5 hours. This includes a detailed health intake to determine your unique constitution according to traditional Ayurvedic principles. Based on this, specific recommendations will be offered including: nutrition, Yoga, Ayurvedic treatments, herbs and self care practices.

Your 30 minute follow up appointment is included and will be scheduled within 4 weeks of your first consultation.

$250 For Initial 1.5 hour visit and 40 minute follow up.

Subsequent Ayurvedic consultations are $150 per hour

Abhyanga: Traditional Ayurvedic Warm Oil Massage is a deeply nourishing, full body, warm oil massage. Warm oil is poured over the entire body including the scalp, feet and often inside the ears and nasal passages. The aromatic oil is infused with therapeutic herbs specific to your constitution. Essential oils may also be applied to specific energy points. Hot stones may be included in the session. The treatment is relaxing for the nervous system, purifying for the body and calming to the mind.

Therapeutic Massage is tailored to meet your specific needs and requests. I will include techniques from styles such as Myofascial, Swedish, Craniosacral and Therapeutic Stretching to unwind muscle tension and fatigue. As indicated, I may integrate warm and essential oils to enhance the healing effects of your treatment.

Shirodhara is known as an uplifting expansive experience. A warm oil blend of sesame and Ayurvedic herbal oil is poured over the center of the forehead and the crown of the head in a continuous stream. This treatment includes a head, neck, hands and feet massage or can be paired with Abhyanga. Shirodhara calms the mind and the the nervous system, alleviating mental and emotional stress allowing clarity and bliss to unfold.

treatments2Basti is a treatment in which a dough dam is applied to an area of focus on the body. The dough is filled with a large pool of herbal oil which is retained to promote restorative healing. The warm herbal oil deeply penetrates tissues to provide cleansing, anti-inflammatory and regenerative effects. Affirmations, essential oils, foot massage and sound healing may also be incorporated.

  • Kati Basti: Low Back Therapy. This treatment relaxes and increases circulation to the low back bringing rejuvenation to degenerated tissues and increasing spaciousness between the bones of the spine.
  • Greeva Basti: Cervical Spine and Shoulder therapy. This treatment increases circulation, relieving pain and discomfort of the upper back, neck and shoulders.
  • Janu Basti: Knee Joint Therapy. This treatment is known to rejuvenate the knee joint, improving mobility and flexibility. It tones muscles and ligaments around the knee increasing circulation and lubrication of the joint.
  • Hrid Basti: For both the physical and the emotional heart. This treatment is deeply relaxing and rejuvenative. It nourishes the cardiac muscles, loosens deep seated grief, unresolved emotions and soothes the lungs.
  • Netra Basti is an eye treatment used to refresh and help heal, tired eyes, poor vision, sty’s, twitching, dry or watery eyes, and bells palsy. The eyes are bathed in warm ghee, releasing toxins in our facial tissue, stress, tension, and reducing fine lines. This therapy is deeply restorative for the eyes and entire nervous system.

Basti Treatment of choice is 30 Minutes $75. It is often added after an Abhyanga massage.

Swedana is Ayurvedic steam therapy and incredibly detoxifying. In traditional Ayurvedic bodywork, Swedana follows Abhyanga massage to deeply penetrate and in turn purify tissues. In addition, this treatment removes tension, stiffness, cold and inflammation. Swedena pacifies numerous imbalances, clearing energetic pathways, enhancing overall circulation and vitality.

20 minutes $40

 

Prenatal / Postpartum Massage: Prenatal massage is a time to nourish yourself and connect to the growing life within you. It also alleviates common physical discomforts of pregnancy such as neck, shoulder, low-back and hip tension or pain.

Making an appointment: You may make an appointment by phone or email. If we are new to each other, please email me to set up a brief phone call. This is to answer any questions you may have and ensure we are a good match. Online booking coming soon.

Payment: Payment is due at the time of booking. For now, I currently accept Venmo, Paypal, cash or check. Other payment options coming soon.

Cancellation Policy: Please allow 24 hours notice when cancelling your appointment. There are no refunds or rescheduling options for late cancellations. If you need to cancel your appointment and give ample notice, you may reschedule for another date and time. Only rescheduling is possible for prepaid appointments. I am unable to offer refunds.

Recommendations:

  • Aim not to rush off to another activity after your treatment. Allow time to shower and have a warm meal.
  • Avoid scheduling an appointment if you are experiencing a cold or flu like symptoms.  Wait until you are feeling better and your symptoms have subsided. We can then focus on designing treatments that can help rebuild and strengthen your immune system.
  • Please schedule any Ayurvedic treatments including Panchakarma after your menstrual cycle, not during.
